We finally made a suit jacket!
It might sound crazy but for the last 6 months we have been wondering if it was possible to design waterproof clothing from recycled truck tarp. Yesterday, fashion student Kate from UWE Bristol created the world's first suit jacket made from recycled truck tarp.
We designed the jacket to see what this durable material is capable of. As it turns out, quite a lot. The truck tarp suit jacket could be the first stepping stone towards creating a small collection of M-24 waterproof jackets. We'd love to get your feedback about this alternative product or if you have any suggestions?
