Located in the heart of Fitzrovia and 5 minutes walk from Oxford Street, this former Victorian toilet has been lovingly transformed into one of London’s top speciality coffee & brunch cafes. Built around 1890 and mothballed in the 1960s, the Attendant was dormant for more than fifty years. After two-years’ of planning and restoration, the original Doulton & Co porcelain urinals have become an inspired line with green seating to match the original Victorian floor tiles.

Our original house, namesake and very own tardis, Watch House Bermondsey Street is a building with character like no other. This charming space only seats ten but accommodates hundreds more serving up fantastic coffees, sandwiches and sweet treats every day of the week. In the years since launching our first house we have been warmly welcomed by the surrounding community, and hope to be the pit stop of choice for years to come.

Founded in 2010 Look mum no hands! was a trailblazer combining a cafe, a bicycle workshop, a bar, and exhibition space to become one of the first "cycle cafes". All types of cyclists (and non cyclists) have visited 49 Old St. to enjoy our bike friendly combination of coffee, beer, wholesome grub and a well regarded workshop. A busy program of events such as Tour de France screenings, art and photography exhibitions, book launches, screenings, workshops, and lm premiers have put London’s cycling culture on the global map.
